Drag and drop image into Gmail using Chrome

May 12th, 2010 Posted in Clip Art News

Google Gmail just release a new feature that allows you to drag and drop images directly into your Gmail message. Awesome job Google! This will make it easier for everyone to insert images into their Gmail email messages, which I think this is a great new feature.

What do you guys think?

Had there been a demo it would have been useful.

this is fine and dandy but it doesn’t explain how to do it

The title briefly explains how to do it, but here are a little more detailed instructions…

    Download and install Chrome: http://www.google.com/chrome

Then while using Chrome open Gmail in a new window so you will have two browser windows open. Then while composing a new email message in Gmail simply drag any image into it.
